Two employees clock up 90 years cement plant service

When Alistair Punton and Robert Wilthew started work in the cement industry, James Callaghan was Prime Minister, and the country was facing its worst ever drought – this month the pair are celebrating clocking up 90 years’ service between them.

New Plant manager at Dunbar Cement Operation

Chris Bradbury is the new Plant manager at Tarmac’s Dunbar cement plant in East Lothian. Dunbar, which is Scotland’s only cement manufacturing site, employs 140 people and plays an important role in the supply of cement to the construction industry in Scotland.
