Tarmac has partnered with Mates in Mind, a leading UK charity raising awareness and understanding of, and removing the stigma surrounding, mental health in the construction industry and related sectors, to launch a festive film with an important message – if you’re not ok, you’re not alone. 

In late July, Tarmac’s Dunbar plant in East Lothian hosted a visit for 47 members of the Concrete Society Council.

Tarmac’s Dunbar Cement plant recently supported its local Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) with a donation towards its annual Lifeboat Fete. The plant donated £1,688 towards the cost of the event, which helps the charity raise money to continue its work to save lives at sea.

Building materials and construction solutions provider Tarmac has published its annual sustainability report for 2022. The report records the progress made against the ambitions set out in Tarmac’s Act sustainability strategy in 2021 and its three central themes of People, Planet, and Solutions.
